Hello, Ion Games. My name is David, and I'm a game design student at Futuregames looking for an internship for jan-aug 2024. A classmate told me about you, and it sounded interesting.
I have a background in fine arts and illustration, and a few years ago I got an idea to make a board game. I made a few paper prototypes until it actually became a working game. This was my application to futuregames and after learning more about theory and making a bunch of digital games, I still feel that I'm drawn to physical game experiences. Having worked in the printing industry for 5 years feels like relevant knowledge.
If I understood my friend correctly, you have previously had interns, and they have made their own projects during the period. This does sound interesting, but if I misunderstand, learning and helping out in your production sound very interesting as well.

So if an opportunity is possible or if you want to reach out, feel free to contact me.

I will post some process pictures, illustrations related to the concept, and some other things that could be relevant. If you want to see more of the portfolio, just click the icon at the top of the page

Bless / David
